Biography

Tamara Johns – Ministry of Business Innovation and Employment

Tamara Johns is the former Immigration Manager of the RSE processing unit within Visa Operations of Immigration New Zealand.

She is currently seconded into the Practice Lead role, focussing on RSE and Student Visa processing. Tamara has held different roles during her time with MBIE, starting as an Immigration Officer, before being seconded to Managed Isolation and Quarantine (MIQ) as a Team Leader to assist in setting up the exemptions process. Prior to this, Tamara was a Legal Executive in a busy family law firm.
