Priya Sivakumaran – Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade

Director, Pacific Labour Growth, Strategy and Design, Office of the Pacific, DFAT

Ms Priya Sivakumaran is a career officer with Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Prior to her current role she was the Director of the Department’s New Zealand and Realm Countries team.  She has worked on Australia’s development programs in the Pacific, Timor-Leste and Indonesia and as an international lawyer specialising in treaty law, trade and arms control. Prior to joining the Australian Public Service, Ms Sivakumaran worked as a corporate lawyer.
