Lee Du Preez – Southern Cross Horticulture

Lee hails from a finance and HR background and made the change to the horticultural industry after working in the banking sector for a number of years.  Lee is a pragmatic , passionate People and Culture professional with a depth of experience across multiple industry sectors, large multi-disciplined organisations, SME’s and start ups.  Her areas of expertise include General Management, H&S Risk Management, Organisational Design, Culture and Engagement, Performance Management, Talent Development, Recruitment and Behavioural profiling with a particular strength in building fast longstanding business relationships in order to achieve results.  Based with Southern Cross Horticulture since 2016, Lee currently fills the role of People and Business Development and has a particular interest in building, coaching and mentoring teams by providing strategic direction and leadership development coaching to ensure company directives are met.  Lee leads the migrant labour arm of the business , adopting a personalised approach to the RSE program with a focus on community upliftment and a strong global partnership network.
